TAPintoTravels - There are a number of movies that just make us want to travel. This week we are going to feature one of our favorite movies that highlights a place of travel interest.  The land is South Africa.  The film is Zulu Dawn.

Filmed on the original locations, Zulu Dawn portrays the Battle of Isandlwana and the build up to the war.  Starring Peter O’Toole, Burt Lancaster, and Bob Hoskins, it is a historical fiction portrayal, but relatively loyal to the real history.  Ousama Rawi’s cinematography is our draw.  It brings to life the Zulu homeland and makes us want to visit the famous battlefield.

The movie is a war film, so parental guidance is suggested.
