BARNEGAT, NJ - The standalone building in front of Barnegat 67 opens this fall as one of the latest additions to the array of retail and residential space. The general manager of Jersey Mike’s in Little Egg Harbor says he is looking forward to opening up the new eatery in the township.
Barnegat 67 boasts complete occupancy as far as the residential units in the first phase of the project. Some apartments are already up for new leases as tenants take advantage of low interest rates and buy homes. The newer part of the residential part of the project has already achieved one third occupancy.
The concept of mixed-use properties is to make things easily accessible to those who live in the rental units – and others in nearby communities. A dentist and hairdresser are scheduled to move into the original part of the complex. They join a gym, eye doctor, dollar store, physical therapist, financial planner, and a company that sells nutrition-based products.
Both an Italian and Asian restaurant bring the convenience of meals for take-out or dine-in. And, just about everyone knows of the drive through for coffee and donuts on site.
“There will also be a walk-in medical facility in the back of the newer building,” shared Doreen Continanza, Property Manager. “We are also looking forward to a veterinarian joining us.”
Two other anticipated additions to the property are a Taco Bell and a convenience store. The Taco Bell will take up space on a pad near Planet Fitness. The convenience store will become part of the second phase of the project.
Barnegat 67 is located on Lighthouse Drive by the entrance to the Garden State Parkway Exit 67. The apartments are age restricted for people over 55.
