BARNEGAT, NJ -  Voters that want to make sure their vote is counted will be in a hurry to get their mail-in ballots in as soon as possible.  Three Board of Education seats are up for grabs with seven candidates on the ballot.  The Board of Ed is non-partisan - and therefore, no hint of voting along party lines. A Candidates Forum on October 6th offers voters the opportunity to make their most educated selection.

TAPintoBarnegat/Waretown Editor Stephanie Faughnan will moderate the forum, which begins at 6:30 pm. The candidates' forum held last year was hosted by TAPinto, with moderation and timing provided by the League of Women Voters.

Faughnan co-moderated the Republican Third Congressional Debate for the 2020 primary election.  Questions were emailed in advance and the moderators used them to solicit answers from candidates. Some were directed at individuals, while others sought each of the candidates' positions on particular topic.
