STAFFORD — UPDATED 9:15 p.m. 12/5/20) Earlier today, the Stafford Township Police released to the public a report of a 13-year-old missing since 12:39 p.m. today, Saturday, December 5.

Tonight at 8 p.m. the department released a follow-up statement which read:

8 p.m. — While the juvenile remains missing, investigation has determined that the female is a frequent runaway and has left the area heading south, last seen in Pleasantville.

We have reason to believe that she may be with aquaintances in the Altantic City area. Stafford Police are continuing to do everything possible to return her home safely. We appreciate everyone’s continued thoughts and prayers.

The earlier police statement Saturday afternoon read:

The Stafford Township Police Department is attempting to locate a missing, at-risk 13 year old black female named Jomyaah Alston-Hart. She is 5’1, thin build, and last seen wearing a multicolored purple jacket, backpack, jeans, black sneakers.

She was last seen walking alone from 98 Altantis Avenue towards Breakers Drive in Ocean Acres at 12:39 PM on Saturday, 12/5/2020.
