WARETOWN, NJ -  A coven of judges headed into the dark night to determine the most "spooktaculalry" decorated homes for Halloween last night. Mayor Ken Baulderstone and his wife were joined by several members of the community. 

The first place $100 winner was the residence at 46 Illinois Avenue, where the lawn is overwhelmed with moving monsters and the like. The second place prize of $75 went to 1 Hornblower Drive, where there are plenty of dead bodies on the property. Third place went to 18 Dock Avenue with a prize of $50. The fog and scary clowns add to the spirit of Halloween.

It was a hard choice for the judges and it's certainly worth a trip around town to see all the homes.  The addresses of all participants in no particular order are:

Notably, the judges came upon many homes not entered in the contest that were also representative of a community that takes pride in making their homes - spectacular!
