Camp Amity Acres Open House

Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore is pleased to offer outdoor summer adventure for girls ages 3 to 15 at Camp Amity Acres in Barnegat.

Families interested in the summer day camp are invited to drop by our open house and meet our staff from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the camp, located at 133 Jones Road.

Going to camp is a big decision, now more than ever. At the open house, you’ll learn about our focus on safety and all the exciting activities that we have planned to help campers thrive in the outdoors.

We’re proud to note that Camp Amity Acres opened for summer 2020 during the pandemic with no cases of COVID-19 among the campers or staff. We’re accredited by the American Camp Association and follow its safety measures, along with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and local health commissions.

Nestled in the beautiful Pine Barrens, Camp Amity Acres features one-week sessions filled with activities such as archery, arts and crafts, boating, swimming, nature, STEM (science technology, engineering, math), and more.

Financial assistance is available to families in need and special savings are available for families who attend an open house and register for camp within 48 hours. Registration is available online at https://www.GSFun.org/camp.
