STAFFORD - The Twenty Fifth Annual Taste Dinner to Benefit the Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean County will take place on Thursday, April 23 at 5:45 p.m. at the Mainland at the Holiday Inn.
Peg and Mark Reynolds are the owners of Reynold's Landscaping wrote a letter to friends to consider being a part of this year's benefit.
I hope that all is well and, on behalf of the entire Reynolds family, let me extend my best wishes for a happy and healthy 2020 season.
As I know you are aware, hunger continues to be a silent epidemic in our community—pulling families apart and forcing individuals to make heart wrenching choices between shelter, clothing and healthcare just to put daily food on the table. Our local grassroots organization--The Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean (HFOSO)—works tirelessly to raise awareness to these deplorable conditions and support local food pantries to feed thousands of families, children and elderly in dire need. However, the efforts of this essential organization cannot continue to grow and thrive without your support.
The year 2020 will mark the 25th Anniversary of the Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean and the vital work they do to eradicate hunger on a grassroots level. As the newly elected president of the HFOSO, I, along with my entire Reynolds family, cordially invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone at the upcoming HFOSO annual fundraising dinner—Celebrating 25 Years of Chefs Sharing and Caring—to be held at the Mainland Restaurant of the Holiday Inn in Manahawkin on Thursday, April 23rd, starting at 5:45pm.
We are appealing to all our dear friends and associates to support this worthwhile organization and participate in this always lively and entertaining annual event. Donations of services and items to the auction segment of the program are sorely needed and, along with the purchase of 50/50 tickets and event sponsorship opportunities, will assist in making this fundraiser a successful and memorable event. The HFOSO website has recently been updated, and all sponsorship levels and event tickets can be secured online, at www.hfoso.org, along with detailed information about this event. Likewise, ticket and event information can be obtained directly from me or any member of the Reynold’s family.
Moving forward, I would like to extend my sincere thanks, in advance, for your participation in this annual fundraising event and support of this essential organization working tirelessly to provide hunger relief to the men, women and children in our local community. With just a $1.00 donation we can feed a family of four for one day and your support, large or small, will go a long way to provide relief and assistance to individuals and families in dire need.
