SHIP BOTTOM, NJ - Welcome to shopping, dining and connecting from a distance. This year COVID-19 has disrupted many traditions, but one thing stands true, we need to show Mom how much we appreciate all she has done.
The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce reminds everyone that Sunday, May 10, Mother's Day 2020 still brings opportunity to share a meal, purchase a gift and even zoom in for a visit.
For decades, the area's accredited chamber always puts out a Mother's Day dining list of where to take Mom for brunch, lunch or dinner. This year they are happy to say that the Long Beach Island Region can still offer a robust list of options, even if it's a loving porch drop from a safe distance away.
Their local business members offer meals and treats for delivery, pick up and gift cards to reserve a future day out.
This year, there has also been added gifts that ship, can be picked up or services that can be purchased to help Mom with some projects.

As Mother's Day always falls on the second Sunday of May, it is always a time the LBI Region begins to celebrate the warmer weather and approach of summer.
2020 is different; but the experiences are available while keeping social distancing practices in mind.
With many members able to ship locally sourced and unique products anywhere in the country, as well as offer meal packages and kits for eat at home feasts, the Southern Ocean Chamber members are here for mom, as they have been since the holiday was founded in 1914, the same month and year as their legacy organization.
Please feel free to shop with confidence with local experts at www.visitLBIregion.com for a full directory of services, dining and shopping options or by following on social as @southernoceanchamber and @LBIregion. The chamber office is ready to serve at 609-494-7211.
