BARNEGAT, NJ –TAPinto Barnegat/Waretown was named the official Digital News Source of the Barnegat Board of Education in a resolution unanimously passed at the January 28th Board of Education meeting. TAPinto Barnegat/Waretown has become the place to go for original local news, information and is the township's only daily news source.
TAPinto Barnegat/Waretown is just one in a network of more than 80 hyperlocal online new sites providing objective daily news in their community. TAPinto sites have broken all records this year with millions of readers.
"I am grateful our publishers Pat Sharkey and Kaitlyn DeBarth afforded me the opportunity to cover the news in the community where I have an invested interest,” shared Stephanie Faughnan, TAPinto Barnegat/Waretown Editor.

TAPinto Barnegat/Waretown has been active in the community. During the last Board of Education election, the newspaper sponsored a candidate's forum. Among other things, the publication carries news about outstanding students and their accomplishments.
