BARNEGAT/OCEAN WARETOWN, NJ – The Ocean County Health Department has reported three more confirmed coronavirus cases within the township.  Meanwhile, Ocean Township has not reported any positive test results within the community.

During Governor Phil Murphy’s daily press conference today, he reported that there are 848 new cases within the state. Seventeen more people have lost their lives as a result of COVID-19.

Overall, Ocean County’s numbers have increased to a total of 200 confirmed cases, with the addition of nineteen new ones today.  Lakewood has the most cases at 84, followed by Toms River at 28, and Jackson, at 23.

In other parts of Southern Ocean County, Barnegat Light has reported its first case. Plumsted now has two positive tests. A complete breakdown of the numbers is as follows:
