BARNEGAT, NJ – Virtual learning continues throughout the local school district and the state. In the meantime, parents and their children may want to get up and move around a bit today. In fact, young and old are also invited to join in the fun.  Since social distancing remains in place, no one’s even obligated to put on their dancing shoes!

Kaitlyn Lazaro, a preschool teacher from the Donahue School isn’t letting up on her Friday dance parties.  She wants to ensure the kids have as much normalcy as possible. And, that means keeping step with normal routines.

Meanwhile, Principal Josh Toddings says everyone at the Donahue School have similar mindsets.  “The teachers start each day with the Pledge of Allegiance posted to their classroom,” Toddings shared.  “And, every Friday, I send out a Fun Friday song to the students through Google classroom.”
