BARNEGAT, NJ - Last night, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian Latwis sent out a short alert to Barnegat families within the district. That said, the surprise may help brighten the spirits of local residents without school aged children.  Today marks the day to head outside with cameras in hand.

"On behalf of the School District - we want ALL of our students to know how much we miss them," wrote Latwis.  "For a fun surprise...tomorrow around 1pm if you can make your way outside please do so...make sure you look up!"

There's plenty of speculation about what the district has planned. Send us your photos marking the reactions and the actual event to sfaughnan@tapinto.net. We can't wait to publish them!
