LIFS and Australian filmmaker/director Tony “Harro” Harrington invite you to come on a beautiful ride to countless coastal locations. Some are well known, like Hawaii’s Pipeline and California’s Mavericks, while others are remote spots, tucked high up in North West Australia or deep down in South Australia. Harrington describes this amazing film succinctly: “The stories in the film are about how time in the water makes people feel.  It’s about fostering respect for the marine environment and its creatures and why as surfers we are drawn to this mystical and powerful part of our planet that is our oceans.” This is a documentary with soul - - a salty blend of stories, by an eclectic assortment of people, sharing tales of adventure, adrenaline, love and loss, and personal connection to the oceans.

LIFS has a great winter line up of award-winning films, including a screening of the 2020 Oscar-nominated short films.
