I believe a concerned citizen should give back to their community through Public Service. As a means of doing so, I have decided to run for the Township Committee here in Barnegat.

I have volunteered on community groups to support public schools, the environment, & business community.

I have a record of public and community service. I have been a youth Soccer Coach, a BOCA U23 Coach, and a Soccer Club Executive Fundraiser

I also served my previous community on the Planning Board, Environmental Commission, Traffic & Safety Committee, Park & Recreation Committee, Community School Board, and the ADA Commission.

Additionally, I served my previous community for twelve years on the Township Committee; seven years as Police Commissioner and twice as Mayor.

During my tenure as an elected official, I focused on conservative fiscal expenditure, public safety, business development, quality of life, and responsible, sensible, controlled development.

I am a former Teacher of English & Communications; but for the last 40 years I have been working in the HVACR Industry; eight years as a Sales & Marketing Director and 32 years a Sales & Specification Engineer.

I have been married to my wife Donna for 42 years.  We have 5 adult children and 6 grandchildren.  We moved to Barnegat 6-1/2 years ago.

My primary focus will be to stop over-development, preserve open space, and improve communication between the Committee and the residents of Barnegat.

It would be an honor if the residents of Barnegat provided me with the opportunity to serve on the Barnegat Township Committee along with my colleague Peg Houle.
