Opening their 106th year, the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce brings together business and community leaders to share the future of 2020.
The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce looks forward to starting off the 2020 inviting area businesses to attend the January 15 State of the Chamber Breakfast held at the Mainland in Manahawkin with check in beginning at 8a.m.
The keynote speaker of the event is the NJ Department of Transportation George Kuhn, Project Manager, Capital Project Management, and Vanessa Meades, Regional Coordinator, Government & Community Relations who will share final phases of the Causeway Bridge Project including details on the new look and feel to the gateway of Long Beach Island.
There will also be updates from Downtown Driven partner program municipalities on what is happening in their towns. Representatives include Mayor Barbara Jo Crea of Little Egg Harbor, Mayor Susan Marshall of Tuckerton, Mayor John Novak of Barnegat, Mayor Nancy Davis of Beach Haven and Mayor Greg Myhre of Stafford.
State of the Chamber attendees will also get the exclusive premiere of our LBI Region 2020 commercial from the producers of the Just Beneath the Surface.
The morning will also allow you to meet new officers and the Board of Directors, hear of new chamber programs as well as how to be involved in the strategic planning schedule, which will direct the local business community through the next decade.
The event takes place in the Mainland Ballroom on January 15, 2020 at 151 Rt. 72 East Manahawkin with check in beginning at 8 a.m.
