WARETOWN, NJ - Food pantries have always been around to help feed the hungry. Amid the pandemic and high unemployment, their role plays an even more important mission. Ocean Township authorities have announced a town wide food drive on May 6th from 9am until 11am.  They are hopeful that area residents will join in the quest to "Stock Our Shelves," - the acronym sends out a distress signal.

Two churches within the community have agreed to take donations. Non-perishable items should be dropped off at the doors of Waretown United Methodist Church and St. Stephens Episcopal Church.  The requested items appear below:
