SOUTHERN OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce has been innovating business support in our community by keeping their programs going virtually.

This morning, "Women in Business" replaced their usual roundtable meeting with a Zoom virtual meeting.

Many women business owners and mangers logged on and discussed the new normal and issues we are currently facing during this pandemic.

Delights Artisan Café owner, Natercia hosted today's virtual meeting with the chamber.

She discussed the challenges businesses are facing, but noted that she feels lucky to still be able to keep their doors open for takeout, and delivery through DoorDash and GrubHub.

To give back to the community, Delights Artisan Café and WBNJ 91.9 have come together to give residents a gift for Easter this year.

They will be giving free individual ham dinners to residents in our area. The meals will include a single portion of glazed spiral ham along with two sides.

"Our goal is to serve 100 meals this Sunday. The modest goal of 100 meals will be increased as donations increase," the café stated.

Delights is currently seeking donations of hams, potatoes and vegetables.

The Easter meals will be offered free of charge beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 12 on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

For more information or how to make a donation contact Delights Artisan Café at 609-549-0727 or email hello@delightsnj.com.

Donations can be dropped off during the week between 10 a.m.and 5 p.m. at Delights Artisan Café, located at 34 S. Main Street in Barnegat.
