MANAHAWKIN, NJ - With the current COVID-19 crisis among us, the Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean had to cancel one of their biggest fundraisers of the year in April.
They are currently holding their 50/50 Raffle where the winner will be chosen on April 23 at the Mainland. No attendance required.
Peg Reynolds, owner of Reynold's Garden Shop and Floral Market and President of the foundation said, "With us having to cancel the dinner, we are in desperate need to get funds to the food banks and this will help a lot."
Each raffle ticket costs $50 and only 1,000 tickets will be sold. The winner has a chance to win up to $25,000.
All proceeds benefit local food pantries from Little Egg Harbor to Lacey Township.
Purchase your 50/50 tickets here.
You can also donate directly to the Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean here.
"Even the smallest donation will help, Reynolds said, "please join us in our fight against hunger!"
