BARNEGAT, NJ - For some time, the Barnegat Township Committee has been ahead on the technology curve as far as broadcasting meetings. Now, they're doing their part to help "flatten the curve" when it comes to the coronavirus. The agenda for Tuesday's April 7th meeting will soon be available here. The meeting is closed to the public as far as in-person attendance.

Tuesday's 10:00 am committee meeting is available for livestream from the computer or visible on channel 22 for all Comcast subscribers. Those who wish to submit comments on the agenda or other matters, should send comments to the Clerk@Barnegat.net.  This includes requests for comments to be read into the record. All comments should be submitted by 8:00 am and include the subject line "Public Comment-April 7, 2020,” as well as the name and address of the sender.

A Nixle alert went out early this morning. At least one resident who spoke on conditions of anonymity expressed objections to the way the Township Committee is handling this, saying it does not allow for a true public comments session.
