SHIP BOTTOM — A Ship Bottom business owner has been charged with criminal mischief by the Ship Bottom Police Department by damaging two vehicles from a competitor in the same borough.
According to the police report by the Ship Bottom Police Department, Raymond Dietrich, of Manahawkin, owner of Air Technical Services in Ship Bottom was issued a summons to appear in Ocean County Superior Court.
Dietrich is accused of criminal mischief by recklessly or negligently damaging two vehicles owned by David Hill, owner of Express Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, located on 8th Street in Ship Bottom.
Dietrich is accused of damaging two Express Plumbing vehicles by spraying WD 40 fluid onto the graphic design of the vehicles causing extensive damage. He is also accused of throwing the can at one of the vehicles causing additional damage. Hill is claiming the monetary damage to the vehicles in the amount of $5,848.57 according to the Ship Bottom Police report.
