BERNARDS TWP., NJ _ Road construction that is part of the township's 2018 road Improvements program are scheduled to begin on Parkview Avenue and Franklin Drive on Monday, June 18, according to an announcement from Bernards Township. Crews will be working on storm sewer repairs.

Similar work on Brook Ridge Drive is not scheduled to take place until the week of June 25.  No road closures or adverse impacts to traffic are anticipated at this time.  Additional notices will follow.

Work on Beechwood Road and North Brook Avenue is scheduled to continue on Monday, June 18, with construction of new granite block curb. 

Beechwood Road and North Brook Ave will remain closed to through traffic during working hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to the township.

Access to driveways will be restricted for residents and nos. 37, 43 and 49 Beechwood Road, and at no. 66 North Brook Ave., the township said.  Driveway access will be restricted for 2 to 3 days, depending on weather conditions.

Residents should make alternate parking arrangements on a different section of Beechwood Road or North Brook Avenue, the township advised. On street parking is prohibited within the work area.
