5K Run/Walk Benefits Somerset Regional Animal Shelter

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Friends of Somerset Regional Animal Shelter (FOSRAS) invites runners, walkers, and their four-legged friends to participate in the Heart & Sole Shelter 5K Run/Walk at Duke Island Park, 189 Old York Rd, Bridgewater Oct. 15. 

Proceeds will go to the Cupid Fund where the money is used for medical care of shelter animals. Registration is now open via www.FOSRAS.com

Fees are $30 for runners at the sanctioned 5K which has a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. and $25 and up for walkers and their pets at the walk which starts at 10:30 a.m.

This is a great family event with over 25 vendors, fabulous raffle prizes, Somerset County K9 demonstration, photo op with Sparkee of the Somerset Patriots,  Try It Agility course, entertainment by singer/vocalist Andrew Lobby, free autumn photo booth, and lots more. 

Come out to support the animals at our shelter while having a great day.
