BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Senior defender Ally Friedman heads a list of Ridge girls soccer players who have been accorded statewide post-season honors.

Friedman has been named to the Second Team of NJ.com's 2016 All-State team. She was named to the website's Group 4 First Team. Friedman had three goals and three assists, but played an integral role in Ridge (16-5-2) shutting out five consecutive state tournament opponents en route to the NJSIAA Group 4 championship game with her heady, aggressive play in the back.

Midfielder Julia Lindsey, a senior, and defender Erin Keefe, a junior, each were tabbed as Third Team Group 4 honorees. Lindsey scored six goals and tied for the team lead with eight assists. Keefe teamed with Friedman to anchor the Red Devils' frequently impenetrable back line.

Friedman will continue her soccer career at Lehigh University. Lindsey will attend Colgate University.
