An Important Message from Ridge High School and William Annin Middle School

BASKING RIDGE, NJ- An Important message from Ridge High School and William Annin Middle School was sent out  to parents via email on Tuesday evening, February 28. 

"It is with great sadness that we inform you that Gage Dobson, an eighth grader at William Annin Middle School, passed away this afternoon," said the email from William Annin School Principal Karen Hudock.

Ridge Principal Frank Howlett said in his letter, "We have been affected by loss this school year more than any district should, it is important that we pull together to support one another."

Principal Hudock also added,  "Counselors from the schools will be available for your children tomorrow during the half day, as will staff from the Somerset County Traumatic Loss Coalition. Please encourage your son or daughter to go to the Counseling Department/Child Study Team if they need someone to help them process their grief.

In this very sad time, it is important that we pull together to support one another.
