B.I.G. SOMERSET HILLS/BERNARDSVILLE Celebrates Its 6th Fall Season

(Bernardsville, New Jersey) –  What began in 2009 with forty area women gathering in the living room of Bernardsville resident Tara Gilvar has evolved into a vibrant women’s empowerment organization comprised of over 600 entrepreneurial-minded women throughout the Northeast.

Today, B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Grow) is a dedicated organization for women that believes every woman has a special gift and talent that deserves to be shared with the world.  B.I.G. provides safe and supportive environments where women gain that opportunity to share their ideas and dreams with like-minded women, receive relevant information to enhance their lives both personally and professionally and most importantly build authentic relationships that enable them to move forward on their journey for life fulfillment.

All women of Somerset Hills and B.I.G. members are welcome to celebrate the Fallkick-off event on September 24th at 10 a.m. at a complimentary coffee and empowerment presentation at The Peapack Gladstone Bank Building at 36

Morristown Road at the Swim Inc headquarters in downtown Bernardsville.  This special celebratory event is designed to help area women gain the inspiration, support and information they need to move forward on their personal and professional journey for self-fulfillment.

Joining the Somerset Hills/Bernardsville leadership team is Liberty Corner Basking Ridge resident Stephanie Stohrer.  The mother of two pre-school daughters brings a fresh perspective to the organization and is excited to help empower area women and young mothers.

I am thrilled and honored to be a part of the B.I.G.’s leadership team,” says Stephanie.  “I believe all women, at any stage in their lives, need and deserve the positive peer support and encouragement that B.I.G. offers to move their life goals forward.”

She continued, “Even if you are not ready to start a business or transition back into the workforce, B.I.G. helps women, like me, plan for “what’s coming next” in your life and surrounds you with like-minded women who enhance your life and believe in your ideas.  Who doesn’t need a little more encouragement and positivity in their lives?”

B.I.G. will be working closely with the women of the Bernardsville Chamber of Commerce, where B.I.G. Founder Tara Gilvar is a chamber member.  All women chamber members are welcomed to attend all monthly B.I.G. meetings in Bernardsville as complimentary guests throughout the year.

We believe that positive efforts should start locally and build nationally and globally, said Gilvar. “That’s why we are proud to support the women business owners of Somerset Hills and invite them to join us to help empower and inspire the women of our communities.  When we all work together, life gets better.”
