BASKING RIDGE,NJ - The Ridge baseball team made the most of its opportunities in a 6-2 victory over Franklin on Tuesday.

The Red Devils (7-8) collected only four hits, but took advantage of seven walks and three errors by Franklin, and received strong pitching. Winning pitcher Kevin Walker allowed two runs and five hits in five innings, striking out six and walking one. Anthony Roti overpowered the Warriors over the final two innings, striking out five batters and retiring all six batters he faced.

Tim Huxen, Devin Stieglitz and Jack Peacock all delivered RBI singles for Ridge, which scored two runs in the third inning to take a 3-2 lead, and then added two more runs for a 5-2 lead in the fourth inning.
