BASKING RIDGE, NJ - The Ridge baseball team opened its season on a winning note with a 4-2 victory over North Hunterdon Monday afternoon.

Devin Steiglitz went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and two stolen bases and Anthony Roti had a hit and two runs batted in for Ridge, which scored runs in the second, third, fourth and sixth innings to take a 4-1 lead into the final frame.

Winning pitcher James Crowley pitched four innings, allowed just one hit, struck out seven and walked three.
