MILLBURN, NJ - Samantha Rascio, a student from Basking Ridge, has been selected to be a part of the Paper Mill Playhouse's 2018 Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory.

Rascio is one of 115 members of the conservatory to earn a spot and perform in the concert "New Voices of 2018: From Sea to Shining Sea" later this month. The show culminates a five-week conservatory program.

Performances of "New Voices of 2018: From Sea to Shining Sea" will be held on July 27 at 7:30 p.m. and July 28 at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Auditorium at Montclair State University.

The Paper Mill Playhouse Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory is designed for students to develop theater experience and knowledge.

The classes these students participate in include musical theater performance, acting, dance and improvisation. The final weeks are devoted to rehearsals for the New Voices Concert, performed annually by the conservatory's students.
