BEDMINSTER, NJ -- The Somerset County Department of Health confirmed Thursday the death of a Bedminister resident overnight, adding to three other deaths reported earlier in the county, residents from Hillsborough, Franklin and Bridgewater.
The Somerset County Department of Health Thursday update shows a total of 190 cases in the county. Somerset County reported 51 new cases overnight.
There was no further information provided yet on the identity, the age or the gender of the Bedminster fatality.
Here is the latest breakdown of confirmed cases by town: Bedminster, 7; Bernardsville, 8; Bernards Township, 12; Branchburg, 12; Bridgewater, 20; Bound Brook, 5: Franklin, 41; Green Brook, 4; Hillsborough, 11; Manville, 7; Millstone, 1; Montgomery, 11; North Plainfield, 12; Peapack-Gladstone, 2; Raritan, 3; Somerville, 5; South Bound Brook, 3; Warren, 12; Watchung, 7.
No cases have been reported in Far Hills or Rocky Hill.
Statewide, there is a total of 6,876 cases, with 81 confirmed deaths. There were 2.492 new cases reported overnight, according to the state Department of Health.
