BERNARDS TWP., NJ - Two skin cancer screenings are being offered by the Bernards Township Health department on Monday, July 9 and Tuesday, July 17. This screening is offered to local residents aged 18 years and older, who are not currently under the care of a dermatologist, and who have not attended a Bernards Township skin cancer screening in the past three years.
The screening is conducted by a board certified dermatologist, who will conduct a full-body exam, and offer prevention information in conjunction with the guidelines from the American Academy of Dermatology, according to the health department. All participants will receive a copy of their screening results.
Pre-registration is required. Participants can sign up at the Bernards Township Health Department lat 262 S. Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge, or register by phone at 908-204-2520.
The screening is scheduled to take place from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 9, and also from 2 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, at at the Fellowship Village Wellness Center, 8000 Fellowship Road, in the Liberty Corner section of Bernards Township. The suggested donation is $10.
