Bernards Police Blotter: Alleged Thief Spotted Riding Stolen Bike


BERNARDS TWP., NJ _ Bernards Township police reported Frank Pesola, 65, of Knollcroft Road in Bernards Township was arrested and charged with theft after he was allegedly spotted riding a bicycle that had earlier been stolen from Ridge High School.

The bike was reportedly stolen on June 8. According to the police report, the owner saw Pesola riding the bicycle and contacted township police. Pesola was arrested that day by Patrol Officer Slawomir Zolnierowski,

On June 25, Zolnierowski also arrested Jewell Daves, 20, from Bethlehem, Pa. on charges of hindering apprehension and an outstanding traffic warrant. Daves was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, according to the police report. He allegelyd provided false information about his identity, police said.

On June 20, Asia Caizzo, 25, from Piscataway was arrested by Zolnierowski for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia, according to this week's police blotter.

Bedminster Woman Dies From Injuries After Being Struck by Car at Bridgewater Mall Parking Lot

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Bedminster woman has died from her injuries after being struck by a car in the parking lot of the Bridgewater Commons Mall on Monday.

Marion Kelley, 62, was struck by a vehicle while walking in Lot 4 near the Macy's merchandise pick up area at around 3:20 p.m. Monday.

The 2017 Mazda was driven by Chinmayi Parikh, 33, of Piscataway.
