BERNARDS TWP., NJ - A motorcycle was reportedly stolen from English Place in the Society Hill development sometime between the hours of 11:45 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. last Tuesday, June 12, Bernards Township police reported.
The motorcycle taken was a 2016 silver Yamaha XCR, the police report said. The motorcycle was later recovered near the Society Hill retention pond. The bike's ignition had apparently been tampered with, the police report said.

Another vehicle reportedly burglarized
Following a string of other vehicles break-ins earlier this month, a vehicle on Ramapo Drive was reportedly burglarized between the hours of 1:54 and 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, township police said.
The police report said a 2012 Jeep Commander was illegally entered, and a tablet computer and wallet that had been inside were stolen.

The Bernards Township police again reminded residents to keep vehicles locked and valuables out of sight. Residents are asked to report suspicious activity by calling police at 908-766-1122. Pay particular attention to suspicious activity at neighbor’s homes, police advised.
