BERNARDS TWP., NJ - The resignation of Ridge High School Principal Frank Howlett is one of the items on the Bernards Board of Education agenda for Monday night, Nov. 28.

UPDATE: Howlett plans to retire at the end of this school year, Schools Superintendent Nick Markarian said in an email on Monday.

The principal's resignation for 2016-17, which would formally need to be accepted by the board, is a personnel item on the agenda for Monday's meeting that is posted on the Bernards Township School website. He has been Ridge's principal since 2006.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Ridge High School, 268 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge.
