BERNARDS TWP., NJ -The Bernards Township Republican Municipal Committee (BTRMC) held its candidate screening on March 19 at the Liberty Corner Firehouse. Joseph Esposito and John Surano earned the endorsement of the BTRMC to run on the GOP line for a 3-year term in the upcoming November 2018 election.
“We congratulate both candidates for earning our endorsement," said Leslie Workman, Chairwoman of the BTRMC, “as well as thank all the candidates who screened with us. Bernards is rich in talent and full of residents who love living here. We are grateful for the fresh faces that came out tonight, and take seriously our role to select qualified Republican candidates to run for office who intend to keep Bernards great."
Jim Hilk, campaign manager for Congressman Leonard Lance, as well as Freeholder Mark Caliguire were on hand to make statements concerning their upcoming campaigns.
For more information of the BTRMC, including how to get involved, registered Republicans should contact BTRMC Chairwoman Workman at 908-403-3624 or at email@example.com.
