The Bernards Township Library will host the 10th annual volunteer fair specifically for teens between 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6 in Program Rooms A and B.

The local organizations will be at the event to provide information and answer questions for students from the area. All students from the area are permitted to attend. At past fairs, organizations such as Bethel Ridge, Susan G. Komen, SHARE in Africa, EmPower Somerset, Somerset County 4H and Mane Stream Inc.

A student who attended the fair told NJ.com that, “I’m really glad the Teen Volunteer Fair exists. Sometimes it’s hard to find an organization you’re interested in that will take a high school student on as a volunteer. When I was a sophomore I was able to find a volunteer opportunity that I really enjoyed and had fun fulfilling my service hours.”
