BERNARDS TWP., NJ - The Bernards Township Committee is scheduled to hold its second meeting for June at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, at the main meeting room at the township municipal building. The agenda for the meeting is posted online.
Among the items to be addressed on Tuesday night are the hiring of a full-time assistant township engineer to fill a vacancy for an existing position on the municipal staff.
The Township Committee is expected to hire Anthony Giralo, who has been recommended by staff professionals, to fill the job at an annual salary of $86,000. Giralo's anticipated hire date is Monday, July 10.
Other items on the agenda include commending the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church on its 300th anniversary, and the approval of a $99,891 bid for this year's proposed Spring Valley Boulevard "traffic calming" project at Acken Road to Cinelli Group Corporation of Wayne.
