Bernards Twp. Library to Close Friday June 23 for Pipe Repairs; Summer Reading Program Underway

BERNARDS TWP., NJ - The Bernards Township Library will be closed on Friday, June 23, to allow for pipe repairs, the library announced on its website.

The library is scheduled to reopen this weekend, with 'Beary' Good Saturday stories set for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, and Legos @ the Library (for ages 4 and up with an adult) scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 25.

Summer hours are scheduled to begin in July, meaning that the library will be closed on Sundays through Labor Day. Saturday hours will also be shortened from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during summer months.

Summer reading programs for all ages

Sign-ups for the library's summer reading program are underway. Programs are being held for children, teens and adults. Events are also planned for children, with a separate calendar for teens. Adults receive a free book for signing up.
