The library, located at 32 S. Maple Ave., will be open on Saturday between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The library also will be closed on Sunday, July 2 - not because of the holiday, but because shorter summer hours go into effect for July and August, during which the library will be closed every Sunday, and  Saturday hours will be shortened from the usual hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) in effect the rest of the year.

Post office, most banks to be open on Monday

Not all businesses will be closed on Monday, however. Most major banks, including those with branches in the Somerset Hills, will be open on Monday, according to this list.

The U.S. Post office also will be open on Monday, July 3.

All branches of the Somerset County YMCA, including the Somerset Hills facilties, will be closed on Tuesday, but open on Monday.
