EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -- East Brunswick got out to a double-digit lead in the first half, but Ridge rallied in the fourth quarter for a 57-50 boys basketball victory on Saturday.

Sophomore center Jayden Hylton collected 16 points and 13 rebounds for Ridge (17-8), which trailed, 17-7, after one quarter. The Red Devils finished the game on a 22-11 run to erase a 39-35 deficit after three quarters.

Freshman forward Jalen Pichardo led East Brunswick (11-13) with 17 points. Devin Kennedy finished with 14 points for the Bears.

Gavin Kreitz scored 13 points and Nate Herrera totaled 11 for Ridge, which will open play in the Section 2, Group 4 state tournament at Linden Tuesday night. East Brunswick will visit Montgomery Tuesday in the first round of the Central Jersey, Group 4 tournament.
