ANNANDALE, NJ -- The Ridge boys basketball team held North Hunterdon to just four points in the fourth quarter to rally for a 46-41 victory Tuesday night.
Ridge (4-5) trailed, 37-34, after three quarters before clamping down defensively and coming back. Sophomore Gavin Kreitz and Senior Easton Smith each scored 12 points for the Red Devils.
Nolan Murphy and Jayden Hylton grabbed seven rebounds apiece for Ridge. In the middle of the third quarter, as North Hunterdon was threatening to pull away, Hylton stole a pass and went the length of the court for a thunderous dunk, helping spark the Ridge comeback. In addition to his seven rebounds, Hylton had nine points, three steals and three blocks.
