BASKING RIDGE, NJ - The Ridge boys lacrosse team scored eight goals in the first quarter and rolled to a 16-5 victory over Somerville in the opening round of the Somerset County Tournament on Monday.

Ted Kapp scored five goals and accrued two assists for the Red Devils (11-3), who built an 8-1 lead after a quarter and 11-3 by halftime. Dan Skea scored four goals and Bryce Kirkwood distributed four assists in the victory.

Alex Choy scored two goals and Michael Harris made seven saves for Ridge.
