Boys Soccer: Ridge Season On The Upswing

BASKING RIDGE, NJ - The Ridge boys soccer team won a pair of games last week, defeating Phillipsburg and Plainfield each by 2-1 scores.

In their victory over Phillipsburg, the Red Devils got goals from senior Will Perry and junior Gabe Jefferies. Junior Franklin Arcos had both assists. Junio goalie Jason Clingensmith made 14 saves.

Two nights later, on senior night, Ridge bested Plainfield with goals by senior Mark Stachowski and Jefferies.  Perry had an assist. Clingensmith made 15 saves.

Ridge travels to Annandale for a game against North Hunterdon Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.
