Bramnick to Discuss Affordable Housing at Town Hall Meeting on May 14

BERNARDS TWP., NJ - Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick, (R-21) will hold a Town Hall Meeting in Bernards Township to discuss affordable housing next month.

Bernards Township will host the meeting, according to a release from Mayor John Carpenter and the Township Committee.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday on May 14, in the Bernards Township Municipal Building, Warren Craft Meeting Room, 1 Collyer Lane, Basking Ridge.

At the end of March, the Township Committee approved a settlement to build build market and affordable homes at Dewy Meadow and Crown Court, but even after receiving a credit of 106 affordable housing units for these projects. No one has said this will be enough to fulfill the township's Mount Laurel obligation to build affordable housing.

Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting to discuss affordable housing as well as other matters of interest with Assemblyman Bramnick

Bedminster Woman Dies From Injuries After Being Struck by Car at Bridgewater Mall Parking Lot

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Bedminster woman has died from her injuries after being struck by a car in the parking lot of the Bridgewater Commons Mall on Monday.

Marion Kelley, 62, was struck by a vehicle while walking in Lot 4 near the Macy's merchandise pick up area at around 3:20 p.m. Monday.

The 2017 Mazda was driven by Chinmayi Parikh, 33, of Piscataway.
