BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Several staffing moves at Cedar Hill Elementary School were approved by the Bernards Township Board of Education at its meeting on July 23.
The resignation of Kim Ace, an art teacher at the school, was accepted. Five teachers were hired to work at the school: Holly Beauchamp and Ben Green, both Grade 4; Tyler McKinnon, Grade 3; Danielle Sardone, special education, and Megan Taxeras, Grade 5.
The board also received the retirement notice of Cathy Nadal Willis, a science teacher at Ridge High School.
The board accepted other resignations:
Brian Heineman, the director of curriculum and instruction, and Maria Mensinger, supervisor of special education, both district-wide positions;
Lauren Calvosa, special education teacher at William Annin Middle School;
Julia Hamill, school psychologist at the middle school;
Ann Suter, a learning disabilities teaching consultant at Ridge High School;
Joseph Rullis, an instructional aide at the high school, and
Maria Lim, a school aide at Oak Street School.
The board approved child care leave for five employees: Caitlin Celebre, a speech teacher at Mount Prospect School; Nicole Hall, special education teacher at Ridge High, and Ashley Harris, school psychologist at the high school, all for the 2018-19 school year, and kindergarten teacher Kimberly Mazza and grade 3 teacher Catherine Stawarz, both at Oak Street School and both for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years.
Others hires are:
-- Jennifer Bonica, special education teacher, and Donna Keefe, kindergarten teacher, both at Mount Prospect School;
-- Malcolm Coates, social studies teacher, Kevin Hennelly, physical education, and Kristin Leskowits, English language arts, all at William Annin Middle School, and
-- Stephanie Fletcher, half-time teacher of theater at Ridge High School.
