Chatham High School Presents Fiddler on the Roof Beginning Friday, March 22

On March 22 - 24, the Chatham High School (CHS) Theatre Department will present the renowned musical Fiddler on the Roof by Joseph Stein.  Performances will be held Thursday, March 22 at 6:00 p.m. and March 23 & 24 at 7:30 p.m.  Due to construction at CHS, performances will be held at Chatham Middle School, 480 Main St. (CMS).

Set in Imperial Russia in 1905, the tale centers on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his desire to maintain his Jewish religious and cultural traditions.  The audience joins him on his journey of managing his three eldest daughters and their strong desire to marry for love while by-passing the importance of tradition.

Tickets for performances are $12.00 student/senior citizens and $15.00 adults and can be purchased in advance online at starting Monday, March 12.  Tickets will also be sold at the door before each performance and in the CHS main lobby between Monday, March 19 and Friday, March 23 from 10:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.  For more ticket information please email Jill Horowitz at
