BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Somerset County Surrogate Frank Bruno, Somerset County Sheriff Frank Provenzano and former Raritan Anthony DeCicco will host Comedy Night with Uncle Floyd Vivano at the Somerville Elks Lodge, on Union Avenue, March 15 at 6:30 p.m., according to a release from the county.

Appearing will also be Assembly Republican Leader Jon Barmnick, also known as the "Funniest Lawyer in New Jersey."

The evening, the release said, will be about family dining and entertainment to benefit the historic Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament, to raise money for critical repairs to the structure, on West Somerset Street in Raritan. The church is the oldest continually active Catholic Church in Somerset County, dating from the 1850s, the release said. It was built, the release said, by Irish immigrants who worked during the Civil War to make blankets for the union soldiers. The Shrine, the release said, is home to the parish of St. Bernard, and provided an education to Raritan's hometown hero, Sgt. John Basilone.

The cost of the night is $60, and guests will enjoy a full buffet with soft drinks, beer and wine during the performances by Uncle Floyd and Bramnick.

Reservations can be made by sending a check payable to The Shrine to 140 Vollers Drive, Branchburg, New Jersey 08876.
