Crescent Concerts presents the 46th annual “Yuletide by Candlelight” concert on Saturday, December 16 at 5:00 pm in the historic Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church in Plainfield. This free concert of anthems and carols is a holiday gift to the community featuring the renowned Crescent Singers. Making her debut with the Crescent Singers is conductor Dr. Deborah S. The theme of this year’s concert is “A Rose in Winter” with music by Britten, Rutter, and a host of other composers known for their Christmas anthems. A special highlight and tradition of this annual candlelit concert is audience participation in singing several of the beloved Christmas carols of the season.
