FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Every year the Certified Horsemanship Association’s (CHA) International Conference features a wide range of experts from within the equine industry as speakers. Part of CHA’s mission is to provide quality continuing education for the horse industry.

CHA is currently seeking experts for the 2018 CHA International Conference, which is scheduled for Sept. 28-30, 2018, in Fort Collins Colo. The conference will be held at Colorado State University and the Hilton Hotel, which is one hour north of Denver.

The event is open to CHA members and non-members with registration. Attendees have included riding instructors of all kinds, trail guides, driving and vaulting coaches, barn managers, horse owners, riders, and general horse enthusiasts who have a desire to learn and network with like-minded equestrians. The focus of the conference is on horsemanship safety and effectiveness, and speakers cover all breeds and disciplines since CHA is an all-breed and all-discipline-based organization.

CHA is now accepting speaker applications for classroom-style lectures, hands-on horse demonstrations, and speakers that can run a mounted group riding session. Certain sessions at the conference allow attendees to sign up as riders on a first-come first-serve basis. The mounted educational sessions are always some of the most popular sessions.

Those wishing to speak should contact CHA’s CEO Christy Landwehr at 720-857-9550 or clandwehr@CHAinstructors.com with a professional biography and a session title and description. In addition, please include any needs you may have for equipment for your session with your submission. The deadline for these materials is March 12, 2018.
