BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Aidan Murphy threw three touchdown passes in the first half as Ridge built a 23-point lead on its way to a 44-20 victory over Hillsborough Friday night.

Murphy connected with Devin Steiglitz and Matt Rusiniak on TD passes of 17 and 15 yards in the first quarter and hit Andrew Lusardi with an 11-yard scoring strike in the second quarter. Nolan Hughes had converted a 37-yard field goal attempt to open the scoring for Ridge (4-1).

Reed Handabaka's 8-yard TD run extended the Red Devils' lead to 30-7 late in the second quarter. It was the first of two TD runs for the senior fullback. RJ Milligan had a 3-yard TD run for Ridge in the third quarter.

Both teams entered the game with the same record. Hillsborough is 3-2.
