Football: Ridge Falls to Immaculata, 21-14

BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Nate Barnett's second touchdown pass of the game late in the fourth quarter gave Immaculata a 21-14 victory over Ridge on Friday night.

Quarterback Brandon Radice's 42-yard touchdown run with 8:20 left in the fourth quarter and Nolan Hughes' PAT for Ridge (2-4) tied the game, 14-14. Ridge had taken a 7-0 lead with 1:30 left in the first half on RJ Milligan's 3-yard TD run and Hughes' point after.

But Immaculata had enough time to come back take a one-point lead on Barnett's 11-yard TD pass to Stephen Dwyer and a two-point conversion run before halftime.

Milligan finished with 121 yards on 20 carries and two catches for another 25 yards. Radice passed for 66 yards and rushed for 70 on six carries.

Defensive end Christopher Byrne made two tackles behind the line of scrimmage for Ridge, which also got a strong defensive effort from linebacker Jack Forand, who was in on a team-high 14 tackles.
